JBI was established in 1995 with the idea that financial freedom doesn’t happen by accident. With the correct tools and support it should be attainable for everyone. John Boyer, CFP, CFS

Principal John Boyer attended University of Florida where he earned his degree in Business Administration. John is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and holds several security licenses (series 7, 24, 63, 65). John is continuing a legacy of offering personal financial advice and investment management services that his father, Jim Boyer, began in Tampa over 60 years ago. His passion for helping others obtain financial knowledge and success has allowed him to assist and mentor many people in the Tampa Bay Community. John has been able to uphold his father’s stellar legacy with one simple creed: “Clients deserve advice that can be trusted, that is unbiased, and that works.”  In his spare time, John is involved with many local professional and charitable organizations including Next Generation Divorce, South Tampa Fellowship, and Awana International.




Sarina Correa

Sarina joined our firm in 2001 and over the years has had various roles. As a result, she has learned the business from the ground up.  Initially, she started as an administrative assistant, worked her way up to Operations Manager, then proceeded to earn the Series 6 and state of Florida 2-15 insurance licenses.  Sarina attended the University of South Florida, where she majored in education. Outside of work, Sarina is busy being a Mom, photographer, and volunteer for various charitable organizations that focus on children and animal welfare.  She currently sits on the board of a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that she co-founded in 2004.
